DIRECTOR: KYLIE NIELSON HOWES
Kylie is originally from Fairview Utah, a small town in Sanpete County. She grew up on a farm with her three younger sisters. She is married to Chris Howes of Price and they have three dogs that keep them very busy and entertained! Music is a big interest in Kylie’s life; she was part of her high school choir, played flute in the band and plays the piano. She also enjoys playing tennis and was on the varsity team in high school. Kylie LOVES photography and has been the owner of Kylie Elizabeth Photography for 12 years. Kylie is addicted to traveling, watching The Crown, and eating anything smothered in chocolate!
Kylie has been involved in the pageant world since she was 17 and was Miss Fairview in 2008. Since then she has assisted her sisters in multiple pageants including the Miss Utah Competition. She believes in the great impact pageants have on young women in, serving the community, obtaining scholarships, receiving jobs, and gaining self confidence.
She loves serving as the director for the Miss Carbon County Organization! She can’t wait to meet all the talented young women of Carbon County and assist them in reaching their goals and serving Carbon County to the best of their ability.
CO-DIRECTOR: MERILYNN DENISON TUBBS
MeriLynn Denison Tubbs was born and raised in Price, UT. She is the youngest of 4 children in her family. MeriLynn is married to Brady Tubbs and is the daughter of Donald and Noleena Denison. Following graduation from high school, she lived and worked in Salt Lake for a number of years and then returned back to Price. Music has always been an important part of her life, and she enjoys playing the piano. MeriLynn is a Certified Coder for Castleview Hospital and has worked there for 12 years. In 2015 she graduated from Weber State University with her degree in Health Information Technology.
MeriLynn has been with Miss Carbon County organization for 7 years and strongly believes in this organization and what it can do for the young women of Carbon County.
