About The Miss Carbon County Scholarship Organization
The Miss Carbon County Organization is a scholarship and service based pageant program. The organization exists to provide personal and professional opportunities for young women to promote their voices and talent in their community. Our organization focuses on service, scholarships, being a role model, morals and values, goal setting and becoming your best self!
Miss Carbon County contestants age 17-24 compete in a pageant with the categories of; Interview, Athletic Wear, Talent, Evening Gown, and On-Stage Question. This is not a beauty pageant but a pageant that values intelligent women with a focus in service, that can be role models to the community. College scholarships are presented to the winner of the Miss Carbon County title and to the Runners Up. The winner of Miss Carbon County holds the title for one year, attends and performs at community events, and promotes a personal platform of service. This organization gives young women life experiences that improve self confidence, courage, drive, public speaking, job interview skills, resume building, and preparation for a college education.
There are four other title holders in the Miss Carbon County Organization that work together as a pageant family. Miss Teen Carbon County ages 13-17 compete in a pageant with the categories of Interview, Fitness in Athletic Wear, Talent, Evening Gown and On-Stage Question. The Teen title holder attends similar events, and promotes a personal platform. College Scholarships are presented to the winner of Miss Teen Carbon County along with the Runners Up.
The Junior Miss Carbon County ages 10-12, attends community events, and plans a "One Day" Community Service Project which serves as a mini service platform. The Little Miss Carbon County ages 7-9, & Mini Miss Carbon County ages 4-6 are little sisters to the organization and are involved in other events of the organization. The areas of competition are Interview (Little & Junior), Outfit of Choice (Mini & Little), Athletic Wear (Junior), Evening Gown (All), & On-Stage Question (All).
Our goal is to provide positive opportunities for the young women of our community to help them build skills for life, improve self confidence, and learn the value of service.
